Hey y'all! The one thing you've all been waiting for, right? That's right! It's a 'Kins hunt, right here and there, folks! Hey, think your folks will be able to snatch some of those Hallow'Kins? Who knows what you might find in those strange 'Kins, too! Are y'all ready for some action-packed hunting?
( ~*~ )
Remember that role-playing here voids the rule of, "No pet in two areas at the same time." However, you will need to obtain five posts in a hunt with your pet before getting involved in another hunt with the same pet. All that good ol' jazz, you know?
Well, with that said, get huntin'! And hopefully... no ghosts or zombies will come across your way.
( ~*~ )
Hey, hey, hey~! Seems like all spots for this hunt were taken! Three role-players is a fair number, now, isn't it? But don't worry folks, there'll be more hunts! So keep your eyes open wide!

Topak and Unnamed Jika Baby What a quiet little town, so much different from those cold, scary mountains. It was safe to say that both Topak and the jika baby liked this quieter atmosphere. Well, perhaps not Toapk, but he didn't hate it, either. Topak was an easily pleased viikuan who was harder to put down then one would think. As for his companion he (or she?) was too young to understand much, though harsh tones did upset it.
"So~" Topak started, looking around. He'd been sent by Moofius from the mountains to this place to look for evil gourds, or something. He wasn't too sure but he was excited to get started. "Ready to go little guy?" He asked, turning his head to look back at his companion who was sitting on his back, legs crossed. It giggled, one hand closed and pressed to one furry cheek. "Alright!"

Blue flapped his wings, soaking in the pretty scenery. Kairi had finally let him out of the house, and he was willing to take in every minute of it. Especially doing something this exciting. He hoped he could find what Kairi had asked him- she apparently wants him to go pumpkin hunting. He figured it wouldn't be hard, but then she said that they're truly called 'Kins, and they have special things to them. She wasn't sure what though. She supposed he'd have to find that out. So there he was, flying over Oben, minding his own buisness when he spotted a large yellow figure moving below him with something on it's back. "Hey, hey you! You there, yellow fellow! Hello!" he shouted down to the yellow figure. He flew in closer, curious if he was on a hunt too. Maybe he could help him!

Why him? Why had he of all creatures been shoved out the doors and been told to go hunt these.... 'Kins? That's what they were called, right? Enver didn't really know much about what these things were, or if they were even real. All he knew was that he couldn't stand the pleading look on that woman's face any longer, and had finally broken down, agreeing to do it for her. When had he turned in to such a wuss? Back before he met her, he used to cause all sorts of trouble. That was the fun of being a Gifter without anyone to tie him down. Many had tried to catch him and befriend him, but for the longest time he had gotten away. Then came that woman... and he turned to putty when she helped free him from what would have meant death if he had been left on his own.
Each step carried him farther away from home, but hopefully closer to one of these 'Kin things so he could go back. His nose stayed close to the ground, his ears perked up to catch any bit of sound. Not too far off he could hear the sound of at least two other creatures, one of which apparently had wings judging by the sound of the flapping. He was heading that way, but depending on what creatures they happened to be me might just leave them be, seeing as how he had a goal.

Even for Topak that was a lot of greetings all strung together. He laughed, tails wagging dangerously behind him, the blades glinting maliciously in light of the sun which was slowly settling in for bed.
"Hey! Hello! I'm Topak, this is my baby!" He'd decided to be the jika's father, much to the gifters displeasure. He'd been referring to himself as such ever since he'd found the gifter and jika. But why on earth did the cute furry thing not have a name? Well, Topak wanted him (or her) to have the most perfect name ever. Didn't parents have nine months to decide on names? Well Topak hadn't had any time, thus his reasoning for the nameless creature. He just called the curious thing "Baby".
"I'm looking for evil gourds!" He called up, following the flying slverynn with exaggerated twists of his head. "Have you seen any?!"

The Silrynn landed next to the Viikuan, making sure to stay away from his bladed tails. "Oh, I've been up there for a while, but I've not found any yet. Terribly sorry. But I'm guessing by your question you're searching for them too? Because I have dreadful luck. Maybe we'll do better together." he smiled pleasurably, then noticed the Jika Baby. "Why hello there! What's your name?" he said, smiling wider.
Blue Elclipse was glad that he had met someone. Hopefully they could help with this hunting thing!

Finally, his silver eyes fell upon the beings who belonged to the voices he had heard. Looked like there were actually three others instead of two. One was just so young that he hadn't heard anything from it. So... A Viikuan, Silrynn, and a... Jika? Yeah. That's what those were called. He had seen once of those around the house, which had apparently come out of an Easter egg from a hunt that was similar to this one in ways. Only back then the hunt had only been for little plastic eggs, not whatever a Hallow'kin turned out to be.
So... They were searching for them as well, possibly? He wasn't quite sure, as he hadn't been able to pick up on what words had been exchanged, but surely they were looking for something. Were they... hunting for his kind? No, no. Gifter hunts were around the fifth of every month. It was much later then that now, so they had to be after something else. The only thing that made even a little sense would be that they too were searching for Hallow'Kins. Taking this in to consideration, the muddy red colored Gifter with the broken antler continued toward them. Maybe he would be able to find some information about what he was honestly looking for, if they all happened to be looking for the same thing.

The viikuan laughed, the sound rough and playful. One didn't have to say that it was loud, loud was a very Topak-like trait. His tails calmed down some. "I can't see evil gourds being very easy to spot from the air. I think their the same size as regular gourds," a love of the word 'gourd' was becoming quickly apparent as the brightly coloured creature spoke. A little ray of sunshine; that's what this viikuan was. "So, what's your name?"
While Topak discussed evil gourd search tactics with the silrynn the jika baby looked around. They were on a quiet, rural street. The sun slowly setting as lights slowly but surely flicked on in the houses, looking warm and friendly. The jika wasn't cold, not in the least as it's thick silver-grey fur kept him warm. Bright jade eyes fell on silver ones and refused to let go. The stare was almost (if not completely) creepy, the jika refusing to blind. "Mum mum mum mum,"

"Blue Elclipse, but I prefer Blue. Blue Eclipse sounds like I was made for some dog show." he said, and then his eyes lit up. "Why, I think you're little passenger has said something! Interesting." he said, fascinated by the small Jika Baby. He almost forgot about the hunt he was supposed to be on.
He turned his attention back to Topak. "Well, Topak, have you any clue to this little gourd mystery? All Kairi told me is they might resemble what humans carve, uh, I think they were called jack-o-lanterns? But she wasn't sure."

Enver came to a complete halt as the Jika's eyes locked with his, one paw raised in the air, as he had been just about to take a step forward. Why... Was it looking at him? 'Go on, child... look the other direction~' Nope. Looked like his mental signal was useless. Then again, not many creatures could read minds, so it was more like he was actually just thinking to himself. Oh well... Might as well finally join them now.
Slowly, he lowered his paw back to the ground as he resumed his walk. Once he was within range that surely they could see and hear him since the Jika already could, Enver spoke up. "Umm.. Pardon me. I hope I'm not interupting anything... but are you two uh... hunting for these... Hallow'Kins?" Being social wasn't something that he was used to yet. He was used to running from others, not talking casually with them. He hadn't even gotten along with many other Gifters, seeing as how they tended not to like his 'childish antics' as they often had called them. He had always seen them as just fun little ways to pass the time.

Topak turned to look at his baby when it started calling for 'mum'. Mum was what the jika called the gifter back home (did that make the gifter his wife? How confusing). Though he couldn't spot anything in the darkness that was coming on fast. He gently bounced his baby to keep him/her happy, his attention returning to Blue. "Well that makes sense. Does sound pretty fancy and-" His ears swiveled back to the direction his baby had been regarding curiously. The sound of paws and hooves approaching. A... gifter. This wasn't a designated gifter hunt, was it?
"Oh, no you're not interrupting anything, really," he said, happy to have another member in their group. The jika, too, seemed pleased as furry grey hands with slender fingers opened and closed towards the gifter. "No wonder you were saying mum. Hehe, that's not your mum, Baby" Topak growled lovingly, rubbing his face against the jika's affectionately. He (or she) grabbed a hold of his snout with both arms, giggling.
"Hollow'Kins? Yah, evil gourds? We are too, what a coincidence," he said, the sound coming out muffled and nasally due to the jika. "We should all look together. Then we'll have a better chance of finding some, right?"

Blue was in awe. He had yet to see a Gifter, and to be talking to one now almost made him fall over. He was always excited by new creatures or old ones that he hadn't seen yet(Espcially ones bigger than him), because he knew this place had some kind of magical touch to it.
"H-Hi!" he said squeakily, sounding like a teenage boy. Quickly clearing his throat, he said in his more usual voice, "The name's Blue." His attempt at seeming cool was ill-made, as he stumbled over his words, so it sounded more like, "The namesmue." Hopefully the Gifter could pick apart his sentence, else he might have to deal with being called Smue.
"Yes, evil gourds. We uh... did you say they were called Hallow'Kins? Maybe that's some sort of clue... maybe they're carved out, like the jack-o-lanterns I was telling you about, Topak." he said, his mind trying to press together all the information and try to make sense of it.

Mum... Mum... Why was that Jika calling him mum? He wasn't even a female, let alone a grown Jika. Well... He had heard that recently the Jika had been showing up with Gifters, so maybe his kind had taken some sort of bonding to these little creatures. Why mum though? Even if the Jika thought a Gifter was its mother, he wasn't even a female Gifter. T'was pretty sure he was a male and had been for all of his life. He took a small step back as the child reached for him, obviously not used to children of any kind. He tended to let anyone else in the house that felt like it take care of those things. All they did was eat, cry, make a mess, and try to be cut. Not his thing at all.
Forcing himself to look away from the little one, the Gifter set his eyes back on Topak and Blue. So he hadn't been interrupting anything? Well that was certainly good. He hate when others interrupted him while he was talking about something important, so it was only natural for them to possibly get mad if he had interrupted thing while they were discussing amongst themselves.
"I'm not quite sure what they look like, or what other names they are sometimes called. I was just told to 'search for a Hallow'Kin, so you can get back outside once again'.... Sounds kinda like a pumpkin though.... So yeah, maybe they look like jack-o-lanterns. It is likely that we would have a better chance at finding them together as you say, so as long as you don't mind I would like to travel with you two." The only reason he even knew what those were was because he had seen others carving them around the house, preparing for the holiday.
Name? Oh yes! Couldn't be walking around with someone whose name you didn't even know. "Ah. My name is Enver, or at least that was the name I was given when I finally found a home. I hadn't really had a specific name before that. It is nice to meet you... uh... Blue I believe you said the name was?" Turning to look over at Topak he added on, "And I don't believe I caught your name?"

Topak wiggled his nose and sneezed, forcing the jika to let go, it's happy giggles coming out more as happy squeals. "I KNEW they were evil gourds!" Topak said, wagging excitedly again. "If they're like these Jack-o-whatevers, and those are decorations.... Maybe those hollow'kin thingies would hide out on front porches? We have an evil gourd of sorts on our front porch," his eyes shined excitedly, "Maybe they're be hiding in plain view! That would be kinda' cool,"
"OH! Right, sorry sorry! I'm Topak. And this little guy... er, girl? I dunno but it doesn't have a name yet. I just call it Baby," His furry yellow chest puffed out. He was proud, no denying it. He also didn't seem embarrassed to much that his baby didn't have a name... or a gender, to his knowledge.
"So... We should start looking!" his voice held a lot of energy. He wanted to get started right now. There's was houses all around they just had to pick a direction -the right direction- and start looking.
While the hunt started up the jika's attention belonged only to Ender, green eyes unwavering.

Blue wagged his thick tail excitedly. His claws ticking against the paved walkway, he said, "Well then, now that we all know each other, which way should we go?" he asked, looking down the street. Houses and shops lined both sides, and everyone seemed to have some sort of Halloween decorations out.
He frowned. Which way? "Ummm... does anyone know which way we should go first?"
