Namonaki looked in the direction the pumpkin had rolled from. Did whoever rolled the pumpkin mean to hurt them? That was when the sound of... hooves? alerted her to Yami. A pink, furry creature had appeared by his side. Is...is this a Gifter? she wondered. The Silrynn could only faintly remember what the Gifter back at home, Asydel, looked like. It was likely that these were the creatures they were looking for...
Suddenly, a white head appeared in front of her. Namonaki almost stumbled in surprise. "O-oh! Hello..." Something about the way the Gifter carried itself made her believe it was shy. Out of the corner of her eye she saw another Gifter, apparently very boastful seeming. She turned her attention back to the white one in front of her. "We don't want to hurt you. We were just wondering if you would come to stay with us..."

Feeling the brush of fur against his cheek, Yami looked up to find what was presumably a Gifter beside him. "O-oh! Excuse me, but I didn't notice you there... Are you a Gifter?" he asked, not even certain if the creature could or would talk back. It was then that he noticed the small creature on the Gifter's back. He had never seen anything like it before... Not that he had ever seen a Gifter before, either, but he had at least heard descriptions of them. No, this creature was far different... Ah, well, best not to ask too many questions. He still had to ask if the Gifter would join him, after all. At least Malthus would be pleased... "...You must get this a lot from others, but... would you like to join me? I live on a rather large estate with plenty of land to roam, and you'd be free to come and go as you like... It's a very nice piece of property; I'm sure you'd like it if you like this place at all. But then, it's all up to you, of course..."

The brightly colored creature's tonge ran across Yami's cheek before it gave a small nod to both questions that had been asked of it. Yes, it was a Gifter... and yes, it didn't mind going back with him. The antics of the other Gifter hadn't made it happy, so it was time to redeem their species and be able to go back with him and show they weren't bad creatures out to hurt anyone that tried to take them home with them. As for the little one on its back, it wanted to be wherever the Gifter was.
The smallest of this little group of Gifter's slowly moved around from behind the pumpkin, coming over to where Namonaki could see it a bit better. Its head was lowered down closer to the ground, taking slow steps encase for some reason this draconic creature lashed out at it for some reason. Stay with it? So... They weren't after them to hurt them? Perking up, the little white Gifter pranced around her in a circle before nuzzling against her.
Then there was that last one.. The rebel of sorts. Leaping down from the pumpkin, it landed just a few yards away from Kim, head down and antlers facing her. So... how was she going to get this one to calm down and come back with her? Stamping its foot, the Gifter began to slowly advance toward her while bobbing its head around like it was going to charge her.

Ah, goodness, that Gifter seriously seemed vicious. To convince it to go back home with her would take a lot of wit and strategy from Kim, and from the looks of it, a lot of muscles as well.
The Viikuan looked over her shoulder and saw the other two Gifters. Yami's had a small creature on its back, and Namonaki's seemed really shy and discreet. Hers... well, it was rather... stubborn, perhaps she could say. Ah, what if he ran away? Oh my, now that wouldn't be very convenient, would it?
Kim started to panic when the Gifter bounced off of the pumpkin to land a few feet away from her, its head making this movement of up-and-down dangerously as it stepped forward towards her. While the Viikuan knew how to fight off enemies, she didn't want to get into a fight if she could avoid it. She was more of those, 'Let's talk about it first' kind of people. The Viikuan stepped away from the Gifter as it kept on coming forward. "Wait, wait! Uh, I..." Quick, she had to think of something, or else she would get into a world of pain. Those antlers weren't made out of jell, but of hard wood. And hard wood had got to hurt. "I... I have someone back home who loves fighting. If you come back with me, you'd get your fair share of fights and challenges." Ah, would this convince him not to attack her? "I... I'm not the best of fighters, you wouldn't get any fun fighting me," she quickly added as she continued to step away. She would try to hold her ground against the Gifter's attacks, but she wouldn't fight... Who knew searching for Gifters could be so drastic?

So the Gifter would join him? Good, good! And the little creature on its back was along for the ride. Malthus would be proud... But it looked like Kim was having problems with that other Gifter. "Ah..." Yami wasn't sure what to do. He certainly couldn't fight it, for he had no natural weapons like the antlers of the Gifter. And it looked like this creature was itching to fight... Even though it held a baby on its back, the pink Gifter couldn't let the orange one get away with hurting an innocent bystander. Trotting between the orange Gifter and his target, it lowered its antlers and snorted, obviously trying to tell the other that the Viikuan could be trusted and that he shouldn't fight. Yami quickly intervened, however, going to the pink Gifter's side and placing a paw on its leg. "Now, now... Please don't injure yourself or that little one on your back..." He looked to the orange Gifter and added, "And please don't fight with us... We'll leave you alone if you wish..."

Kim blinked as Yami's Gifter (and Yami himself) intervened, and quickly she tried to dissuade them from getting into this mess. "Ah, it's going to be fine..." she said quietly, unsure of her words. Ah, goodness, what was going to happen...
When the Gifter saw the other reindeer step in front of the Viikuan, he snorted. He kept on coming forward, his antlers ready to smash into whatever would come across his way... and then there was this Lollio. A Lollio... a Lollio! The Gifter stopped in his tracks in the blink of an eye, observing Yami with his haunting, ghostly-white eyes. He stared and stared at the Lollio. "You!" Again the Gifter came forward, but this time not in an offensive way. In fact, he seemed quite eager to interact with Yami. "I've been looking everywhere for you!" he blurted out. "But I've found you, finally! Come on, we have to find the other two animals that were dispatched." Dispatched? What? "So under which God are you? From your color, I assume you're under the God of Nature." The Gifter tilted his head, now curious and under a stable state of mind, awaiting for Yami's answer.

Yami shrank back slightly as he was approached, but then the orange Gifter began speaking to him, and quite excitedly at that. Dispatched? God? What was he going on about? Was there even a God of Nature? Yami couldn't remember one in all of his teachings... "I'm sorry, but frankly I have no idea what you're talking about," he replied somewhat timidly, rubbing his paws together nervously. "I haven't been dispatched by any God... I'm just a mortal Lollio. Nor do I know any other Lollies that may have been 'dispatched', as you say. Though perhaps, if you go with this kind young woman here, you may be able to find who you're looking for?" He gestured towards Kim, trying discreetly to get this Gifter to go with her. The pink Gifter blinked from Yami to the orange Gifter all throughout this discourse. Just what was his companion going on about? Was this the reason why he had decided to come along with him and the white one? To find this Lollio? He stood back, at least satisfied that the orange one would no longer attack.

The Halloween-themed Gifter snarled when Yami's response came. Ah, he had slipped up right there. Yami wasn't the Lollio the Gifter was looking for, apparently, since Yami had no idea what the Gifter was rambling about. He noticed how timid and careful Yami was acting, and the deer supposed it was because he had tried to attack them earlier.
The Gifter huffed. Back to square one. But Yami mentioned how he might find the Lollio he was looking for if he want with the Viikuan female. Hm. While he wasn't so keen on accepting the help of others, the Gifter had been sleeping in the dirt of the nearby orchards and forests for a long time now... surely this Viikuan had a home? He would be able to obtain shelter, which would be a great help... "Hmr. Well, sorry about that, I guess." Ah, should he mention he's on a mission under a God? ... But then Yami had already told him that he had no idea what the Gifter had been talking about. "I suppose your idea works," he said as he said down on his haunches.
Kim watched as the scene unfolded in front of her. The Gifter had turned from aggressive to curious to excited to thoughtful. What an adventure, this hunt... "Ah, so you'll come along?" What a relief, the Gifter had finally accepted to come along. "Ah, so... what's your name?" Did he have a name?
The Gifter's pointy ears twitched as he heard the question. "I'm called Dispatch of Harvest. I don't know what kind of name people would give me. Dispatch is fine, I guess." Yeah, he would go with that. Dispatch. "Should we go now?" Dispatch got back on his four paws, ready to leave the orchard. He couldn't wait to sleep on soft bedding under a roof.
Kim nodded and turned to Yami. "Ah, I guess we're done here... It was nice meeting you... uh..." She paused. His name... what was his name? She hadn't heard of it. "What's your name...? I... I don't believe you've told us." And if he had, then she had been really inattentive.

How wonderful! The orange Gifter had been convinced to go along with Kim. That meant that each of the three that had gone out to find a Gifter had found one! Lovely how things worked out sometimes. "Ah? Did I forget my manners? Please pardon me, then! My name is Yamiejiputo, but you may call me Yami for short." He bowed to Kim with a slight flourish, loosing all apprehension now that the orange Gifter would be going home with her. "It was a pleasure meeting you, as well as Miss Namonaki." He hoped that perhaps he had given the Wevrynn at least an idea of what she could be called. "Perhaps we shall meet again someday... but for now, I bid you my adieu." With that, he bowed again and led the pink Gifter away, off towards the grand estate he had mentioned.
