Siskio And Moofius Character "Aren't you excited, Siskio?" the cow anthro said gleefully. She'd decided to come along for her own selfish reasons. She wanted to see her Pown. He was only her super bestest best male friend EVER! Though he didn't seem to get along with her other friends that was okay. She just didn't hang around Pown with Okko and Toxic. Of course it was easier to hang around with Okko and Toxic because they were... well... girls. And they seemed to understand her better than any guy ever had.
Pown was the exception. Yes,definately her best male friend. She loved him. No, not like that; though to be honest that's what it looked like most of the time. But this is a yumi breeding primarily, not a human get together. Siskio wasn't listening much, jumping from tree to tree until he arrived at the tree. The Sacred Eggcorn Tree... He'd done research on this tree particular tree. All sorts of information on it, it's birth and myths and what has happened in the ages of it's life...
"Interresting..." A flat tone, a flat emotionless face. This would be, "Interresting,"

TweedleDeeand Pown Unlike Siskio, the other Yumi, TweedleDee, really hadn't wanted to go...to go.... breed by herself. Okay, so breeding was never by yourself. What was meant was that she didn't want to just be around a stranger. She wanted someone she knew to come along with her, just in case. Moral support, ya know? Normally, it would have been her twin brother who would come with her. What was TweedleDee without TweedleDum? However, it was Pown that volunteered himself to take care of the matter. He had two reasons: a. To hang out with Moofius without the pesky Toxic and Okko around. b. He was extremely over protective of his babies! Yes, that's right, his Yumies were his babies. Back off people. Oddly enough, TeedleDee had actually been a gift from Toxic. Ironic, no? "You sure this'll be fine?" The Candi Yumi asked, looking sideways at Pown's face. She was happily perched on his shoulder, letting him do all the walking until they got there. "Would I send you here otherwise?" No, no, he wouldn't. The man was too much against breeding to do so. Why had he made the exception here? Who knows. He'd never tell. Just keep it in mind- Candi Yumies were like his children to him. "Moooofie!" When they'd come nearest the tree, Pown started in a run, making the poor Yumi on his shoulder cling to his neck for dear life. It was a wonder that his top hat stayed on so easily as it did. He stopped by jumping, right in front of the cow anthro, and threw his arms around her in a not-so-deathly bear hug. "It's wonderful to see you! How are you? What've you been up to?" All the words spilled out in just seconds. Anyone else who'd ever seen Pown would have probably fell over and died to see him acting...so...so cheerful. As for Dee, she simply abandoned ship the first moment he was still. To the tree, to the tree. Rather then climbing up it right away, she just walked circles around the base. He was up there alright, whoever her partner was.

Ah, so the yumi was here now. This was announced quite obviously by the other humans arrival. Pown, a friend of Moofius'. He seemed... very cheerful. He wouldn't have known to be surprised, having never met the man. Moofius said he was cheerful and so he deduced that the man was in such a mood at all times.
Ah, yes and the other yumi. He peered down from the tree, green eyes flashing as he looked upon her. Candi yumi, it seemed. Fairly rare, he'd heard. Strange that Moofius would have three living at her home. Now... how to approach her...? Walking "clumbsily" enough to make noise he slipped out of the cover of the leaves above her head. He wouldn't attempt a smile. It wouldn't be worth it, it would look to fake. But he didn't scowl or frown either. "Hello... I am, Siskio... It's a pleasure to meet you,"
"POWN!" Moofius almost screamed, throwing her arms around him giving a very warm hug. A kiss on the cheek, excited to see him. "I'm great! Having lots of fun! Erm... ScavengerhuntwithOkko," she said hurriedly. Okko and Pown didn't mix. Almost as badly as Pown and Toxic didn't mix. "I've missedededed you! A whole lot! What are you up to, Pown?"

With Siskio's attempts to be loud enough, it was very easy for the female to detect his movements. The Candi Yumi's ears perked up as she bothered to scan the trees. Ah. There he was. A...Ruby Yumi. Red. Red was a pretty color. A Candi Yumi that liked colors like black and red, how amusing. Even if she wasn't offered a smile, it was very easy for Dee to smile up at him. "Siskio. I like your name! And it's a pleasure to meet you! Name's TweedleDee." And, even if he had to look down at her as it was, she bowed for a moment. "Just call me Dee, though." Why did...it seem like he wasn't quite being honest with her? Oh well. By this point and time, she was just gonna let Pown and Moofius catch up. Didn't seem like she could interrupt them if she tried.
The trench coat an' top hat wearing man only released Moofius after giving her one more squeeze to the hug he'd given her, letting her answering his questions without any words. Heh. Okko. Moof may have said it fast, but he caught it. It couldn't be avoided that she'd hang out with her. He knew this so, for now, wouldn't make any useless comments. It was just them two right now. "I've missed you too, Hun." So he had calmed down abit. "And I've got a present for you~" He pulled the hat off of his head, Malice not seeming to be hiding there for once, and peered inside. In a brief moment, he reached in and pulled out a large multi-colored lollipop. "Here you are! <3" He said, offering it to her. Just like him to bring candy.
He didn't answer her questions, not about to say that his time was frequently taken up by plotting the downfall of Azac and Toxic, and even Okko, just because.

Ah? Such old manners in this age? How... Peculiar. He was a little intrigued and followed the example, bowing his head to her. A little innafective from his position. He really should be on level with her, that was the polite thing to do. Quick as light (light, not lightening. He was fast and prided himself on it) he was next to her and bowed more fully. "TweedleDee? Like Alice in Wonderland?" he asked, drumming up a conversation.
Hun. he called her Hun. He was so cyute. "Oh, a gift?" she asked, interested right away. "AH!" her face lit up when she saw it, "That's amazing! How did you know I love these things?" she asked, taking it in her hands. "This is amazing, will you share with me?" He got another kiss on the cheek from Moofius. He was so polite, not to complain about Okko or Toxic around her. She loved Pown AND Okko and Toxic. So she couldn't pick sides when they complained about the other.

One moment, she was staring up at him, the next, he was beside her. Dee jumped back just a bit, startled by his speed. Sure, she was fast, but not that fast. But he bowed in return to her. Well then. At the very least he was polite. Perhaps this arrangement wouldn't go over so horribly as she thought. "I do believe that is where the name is derived from, yes. However, don't hold me to being just like him. I go by Dee for reasons, aside from the fact my twin brother goes by Tweedle rather then his full name as well..." She couldn't blame him for kicking off the 'Dum' part, due to people's irritating comments. "You read?" It was a reasonable assumption.
He nodded, giving a grin. "If you're willing to share. You know I could never turn down the offer of anything sweet." Yet, he was the picture of health by any mortal standards. Did he actually eat anything other then candy? "You get dibs to the first taste, though." He winked. He then replaced the hat upon his head, adjusting the bits of hair in his face, before glancing in his Yumi companion's direction. He couldn't help but to check up on her. All seemed well... Good. If anything happened to her, he might have had the other Yumi's head.

"I wasn't planning on making assumptions," Though he'd already tried. Candi yumi's at home seemed rather... peculiar, odd even. Though that wasn't very fair to pin on the species. He was happy to hear that she seemed quite sane and mature. "Ah, yes I love to read. Generally I don't read fantasy though. Biography's history... Some mythology. But from time to time I'll just read for... pleasure," It was a rare occurence. Siskio couldn't be sure but he felt that he'd never finished Alice and her Wonderland adventures.
Moofius noticed him looking towards the two yumi's, checking herself. Siskio wasn't a very social creature by nature. Usually observing the others interract. But he seemed to be doing rather well so far. "Don't worry about it. I don't know about your yumi, but Siskio is, atleast, polite. A gentleman and a scholar?" she laughed, taking the first lick of the lollipop. Pure sugar. Amazing. Delicious. Perfect. "Pown you rock. Especially with candy. When did you start liking this stuff? You don't look like the type," another lick, another before she offered her bestest buddy the other side of the lollipop. They looked like a couple.
What did I tell you? But they weren't, oh mo. These two were just friends no matter what they said to each other. And really they weren't looking to make the relationship anything more. None of this wussy, secret crush stuff. Just good buddies.

"Well enough then." It all depended on the timing, really. Sometimes it was quite possible for Dee to dome off as a little...odd. But who didn't come off as such every once in awhile? It all was in the eyes of the other person, after all. Like right now, her brother might have said she was acting odd just because she'd made no attempt at rhyming yet. In that respect, maybe she was more complex then anyone quite thought. "Mythology...If I read, I'd have to say it would be mythology or fantasy. Don't have too much time to do that though. And, I have you know, Alice in Wonderland...There are bits of mythology within the book as well. You just have to look at it that way."
"Okay, okay, aside from reading, what else is your cup of tea?" Aaaand there comes an unusual word choice.
As for Pown, his eyes slid back from the Yumies over to Moofius when she started to speak. "I've yet to see anyone Dee couldn't handle..." At least Yumi-wise. She was generally just friendly and open enough to get along with anyone. He just didn't want anyone to think they could take advantage of her because of it. "But...it's in me to worry..." He admitted quietly as she tasted the lollipop. Almost everyone else in the world would be excluded from knowing this. To her comment, he had to laugh, which was also followed by a bit of a smile. "Glad you like it. I'd say I was addicted to the stuff the moment I tried it. He leaned forward toward the offered lollipop, licking his given side of it. It was wonderful! Just as he had suspected. He leaned away. "Heh...heh...heh..." Was he not careful, he might loose it and try to eat it all. "Were you implying that physically I don't look it? Cause I've been told this," - and he adjusted his top hat a bit - "Worked well with my addiction to candy." That was what Toxic had told him, anyway.
Indeed, they would have looked like a couple to anyone that happened to watch them, but that wasn't what was on his mind either. To him, Moofius was a good friend, one of very the few he had, and held not a romantic interest to her. One could love without it being romantic.

The term didn't go unnoticed but over looked. Many people had little things they'd say others may find peculiar. Maybe this was one of hers. "Besides reading?" Well he wasn't about to inform her of his job. No, no, that probably wouldn't go over well and it wasn't something you spouted willy-nilly. "I like to study things... Sciences mostly. I'm quite found of the... darker side of the sciences, if you will. Poisons and the like. Fasinating, really,"
"Ah, you worry?" Moofius asked, happy to just be here with him and chat... And enjoy this lollipop. Wow, she really hadn't expected him to share his candy. Toxic said he was very posessive of it. A giggling girlish laugh. "I mean most people who love candy are usually... well... Big. I have to watch my figure," she patted her belly, "I'm not doing the best job on that either," again she laughed and then poked the skinny figure that was Pown. "I think most girls would be pretty jealous. Heck, I'm a little jealous," she laughed. Moofius wasn't fat... Just had that little bit of a belly that most woman got. So they had a fat reserve to carry a baby safely. Atleast that's what she'd learnt.

The darker side of things, hum? How very interesting. Who ever said science was all for good? No one. If they had, then they weren't very wise at all. Dee wasn't particularly very educated on the matter of science, but that was just general knowledge. There were always darker aspects to everything. "Poisons, huh? Sounds like fun." Was she serious?! Maybe. Probably. Oh, how really knows. "Interesting...fun...what have you." She shrugged.
She suddenly started looking around, her fluff ball of a tail shaking back and forth, sort of like she was wagging it. "Right, well uuuh, care to join me?" She asked with a tilt of her head at Siskio. With that, she hurried scurried up the base of the tree and onto that same low branch he'd been standing on before he jumped down to greet her. She was fast, even if not quite able to match him.
A chuckle escaped from Pown, just listening to Moofius and watching her antics. So full of life she was. Uhg. He hated that statement. None the less! He was amused, and couldn't help himself. He poked Moof in the tummy and made a face. "But you're not fat." He insisted. "I'm sure I'm just a freak of nature, that's all." No, freak wasn't quite accurate, but he couldn't tell her the truth of it. He was well aware that she was mostly messing around though, too, so didn't press anything. Instead, he just snatched up her lollipop-free hand. "They seem to be fine on their own. Lets take a walk and give them some privacy." He wouldn't go too far from TweedleDee, but standing around wasn't a very entertaining activity for anyone.

Another giggle, "Well at least you're a good looking freak," she said, happy to take his hand and start swinging it back and forth in an exaggerated motion. "Yah they look like they're doing alright," she said, nodding her agreement. "So... do you think Tweedle ... er... Which one is she?" She frowned, unhappy with herself, "I always get them mixed up. TweedleDee and TweedleDum. I'm sorry," Moofius was rather awful with names and faces.
Siskio shot up the tree after her, slowing down from the speed he'd had. Something slightly under her own speed to be polite. It felt so... slow. One of the reasons he worked alone, it was faster and he didn't have to look out for anyone else. "This is rather different for me. Have you ever created children?" The yumi wasn't avoiding any term or anything out of discomfort. Just that this seemed to fit more easily into the conversation. He wasn't terrified of the idea of being a father. He seemed almost... uninterested?

"That's always good to hear~ Being a good looking freak." He smirked a bit. "You just made my day, Moofie." Truth be told, that was more of a joke. He could care less if he was attractive in the eyes of others. There was no fight put up to stop their hands from swinging. Again, he didn't much care. He just started walking, letting the cow girl do as she pleased. Whatever made her happy. "Dee. TweedleDee is the girl and my companion. TweedleDum is the male, and he usually stays with Toxic." Eying the lollipop in her other hand, he got an idea, "I'll forgive you if you let me have a another lick." So simple to please.
Dee blinked a time or two, innerly being amused by his choice of words. He was so formal. Nothing was wrong with that, it just wasn't common. She didn't like common... "Once before, when I was forced here." The Candi admitted. "Only a single child came of it. He doesn't particularly like breedings, however." She nodded toward the direction Pown and Moofius had been in, only to find they were walking away. Huh. That was surprising. "It was the lady of the house that asked me to come previously. It was a surprise that he'd requested my coming here again.I take it you haven't, if this is different? It's all simple really." If he'd been into science, didn't he already get the basic gist of this? Or had he not read up on Yumies like that?

Siskio looked to see that the two humans had moved along. He already knew this of course but it seemed that most wouldn't have noticed. So he'd looked and then back at her. "Given us some room, I guess. Ah, yes I've never done this. I know what to do," wasn't it common knowledge? That he hadn't even had to look up, to research. Siskio had just known what this place was. And even if he hadn't, researching the tree had given him enough information on how things proceeded. "Moofius thoroughly enjoys having the others procreate," Siskio said, finding it a little odd and... distasteful. But she was a very family oriented spirit and seemed to think everyone else on the planet was keen on creating life. Siskio was pretty sure that she was scared to start her own family. For what reasons, though, that was beyond his comprehension and research.
"No I've never been here though I did my research... But isn't just natural to know how this works? I find it very peculiar when a yumi returns going, 'I wasn't expecting THAT!' ... very peculiar," The ruby yumi seemed to be thinking now. Thinking hard on the subject. But he shook his head, expression relaxing. "Ah, sorry... Perhaps we should go up and look for a bloom?"
"Only the very best compliments for my Pown," Moofius purred teasingly, offering him the lollipop. "I have to try to make your day? As soon as I saw you my day had been made. Especially after that lollipop. So, do you have any friends or have you been keeping everyone at an arms length?" she asked teasingly, brushing her wavy brown hair out of her eyes. TweedleDee was in the tree. Hey, that rhymed. Maybe that was how she could remember it. tweedleDum... Hmmm... What rhymed with TweedleDum? Darn... This would be hard, but, she'd put the effort in to remember.

The posistion that TweedleDee was coming from was basically that, yea, actually, not everyone was aware of how breedings were done. If one had never done them before, never thought of it and never told of it, of course they wouldn't know. There had to have been some Yumies that had such a naive innocence. Had she not been tossed into a breeding previously and informed a little, she probably would have been a bit confused at first too. Compared to other creatures, Yumies were very different. "It's not totally impossible that one isn't very aware. I've heard that some humans trick their companions into these arrangements." Thankfully, her humans were kind enough not to do so. Besides, she would have up and left were they like that in the first place. "Yes, yes, lets." Things would be easier if time was just spent hunting for a flower bud. "Lead the way?" He seemed to be an independent type, thus, wouldn't ask him to follow her around.
"You don't have to try, no. You manage without trying, love." He replied with a grin, pulling the lollipop closer to his mouth even with her still holding it in order to steal a lick of the sugary packed treat. He let go though, trying not to be greedy... It was strenuous, yes it was. A chuckle passed his lips. "You know I prefer creatures to most humans." Or people similar to humans. "Nearly got in fight in recent times, actually." Sure, he forget about that until just now. "I was out hunting for a Gifter when I had the urge to punch this idiotic girl out. Didn't. Wanted to." Oooh, did he want to. Gender didn't mean much to 'im if you got on his nerves.

Siskio did as was asked, glad that he realised that he would rather lead then follow. Or maybe it was just chance. But the ruby yumi was pretty sure she was an observant creature. "I suppose... But isn't it natural to want to procreate? Aren't we here almost soully for that function? To keep the species alive?" Even he could feel this not-to-subtle tug on his being guiding him up the tree and along the branches in search of a packet of flowers.
It didn't take him long to locate a small pocket of flowers, dappled light flittered through the leaves to reach these flowers. They looked healthy and no painfully high off the ground, either. He turned to look behind him to his partner, one paw up and pointing in the general direction. "Do these seem suitable, Dee?"
Moofius covered her mouth, surprised. Punch out a girl? "Was she really that awful, Pown? I'm glad you resisted doing it though. You might have gotten in trouble for assaulting a girl or something. I'm sure she probably deserved it though," the cow anthro said, nodding her head, ears flopping. She didn't know the whole sotry but was curious. "You'll have to tell me more," she said, licking the lollipop; completely forgetting which side was hers. Meh, didn't matter in the long run; nor did she much care about germs. Though, maybe Pown did? Maybe... But then this was candy so she doubted it would come into affect. At the thought Moofius giggled.
