Easter Egg Hunt!
It seems that, within the night, eggs have been scattered all throughout Ladelle. Who is the culprit? We may never know! But who cares?! They left all the citizens of Ladelle eggs to go hunting for! And here is the best part: you get to keep whatever eggs you happen to find!
-------------------------------------
Please keep all of your egg hunting in these official threads only. We'd like to keep things nice and pretty here.
Also, if you're stuck in another roleplay, it's null and void when joining one of these hunts. However, the five post count rule applies here before sending another character to another egg hunt thread. That means that all other rules apply as well.
Now, get hunting!

"Oh, when I get my paws on that little wretch..." the blue Lolli's voice trailed off, and if you looked closely you could see the worry in her eyes. The Naos next to her tried to calm her as best she could. "Now now, Wynd, I'm sure Rotcholm is okay." she said soothingly, hoping it would mend the frayed nerves of this Lollia. But nothing seemed to help. "He's still just a pup! He'll never be able to survive out here! I don't know why he wants to leave the safety of the house. It's safe, what more could he ask for?" The Naos shook her head. "Wynd, he's not a pup anymore. He's grown. Sure, he's reckless, but he's also gentle and sweet. I'm sure he'll come home after a rough night of searching." It took all of her willpower to keep herself from revealing where Wynd's son was. Rotcholm had left a note, but Liskha had to hide it. She felt that he would come back, no matter what the note said, and she didn't want to worry Wynd. But then she noticed that little Rotchy wasn't there, and then parts of the truth popped out of Liskha's mouth. She was lucky she didn't say all of the note, or then Scooter -she liked his nickname better than his given name, it fit him nicely- would be a dead Lolli. She just thought that he could blow off some steam and then head home. But Wynd seemed to think differently. She seemed to think he would come home willingly. She would be the only one to drag him, seeing as Liskha had no arms. She sighed. At least she could try to find a few eggs on their journey. She figured it would take the full day for Wynd to find that Scooter was in the next town over, so she could take a break and have some fun. She wished she had someone to help her with the eggs though. Wynd would be no help. She appreciated that Kairi had given her an Easter basket as an Easter present, or she would have no luck getting them home.

They fumbled along slowly, Wynd choked from crying so she wouldn't talk. Liskha tried to keep the waterworks from happening though. "Don't worry, Wynd. He's fine, I'm sure of it. It's in my blood to know these things." Of course that was a lie, but Wynd seemed to believe it. The Nao sighed quietly, thankful that she wasn't one of those moms who freaked out totally and had breakdowns when their child runs away.
Wynd wasn't so sure that Rotcholm would want to come home at all. He was headstrong, definatley not suited for house life... he liked adventure! She enjoyed adventure, but only when she knows it's safe. "Rotcholm, why did you go?" she whispered, a bit of a tear coming to her bright blue eyes.

Liskha noticed the crying. "Now now, don't cry. No need to cry. Tears for nothing are not good tears." Liskha was running out of comforting things to say. What could she say though? It didn't help that it was her son gone, run away on his own, because he wanted to run away. Liskha sighed again. This was going to take a while.
Wynd wiped it away. "I- I wasn't crying." she said, choked by her sadness. Her eyesight kept blurring from all the tears that wanted to rush forward. But she had done enough crying. She wouldn't do anymore. There was no need, except that she wanted her son back.

LIskha had been distracted. She thought she saw an egg, over by a bush... she had tried to get under it, but Wynd seemed to be having trouble coping with the loss of her son. The Nao gave up and slid back out, running over to comfort the pain-ridden Lollia. "Now, come on. PLEASE... stop being sad!" she said. She was done with trying to subtley get her happy again. She wasn't responding to the indired method. Time to kick things up a notch. "I want you to stop sniveling. C'mon, you can do it. You don't see me groping, do you? I love your son just as much as you do, now BUCK UP!" she said loudly. Wynd stared at her, scared for a second. Then she buried her face in her paws. She was shaking with sobs. The Nao had enough. "Ugh!" she shouted, and went off on her own. Wynd would have to deal without her.

Liskha was having fun, searching for eggs. She parted long grass here and there, hoping to find a nice one. She had thought she saw one in a tree earlier. But, being unable to climb it, she decided to take a break and lay under it instead. She hadn't covered much ground, but she was at least enjoying the city.
Wynd, on the other hand, was not. High and low, near nad far she could not locate her son. She flew high in the air to try to spot his bright blue pelt, but no luck. She had cried her eyes out for a while. Soon there were no tears left, and as she floated along on tireless wings, she felt terribly thristy. She found a comfy inn where they were serving tea. She got a large cup of it and sat down at a table, sipping it quietly. Maybe she needed something to take her mind off of Rotcholm. She finished her tea, then flew off to find Liskha. She wanted to see if any eggs were to be found.

Liskha had fallen asleep, and when Wynd had found her, she was sticky with sweat. "Liskha?" Wynd questioned. The Nao awoke with a start. "Wynd! I wasn't expecting you to find me..." she wiped a foot over her brow. "Whew, feel that spring heat. So, given up?" she asked. Wynd grimaced. "No... but I think I need a bit of time from it. I've come to help you look for eggs." she said. Liskha smiled. "Thank the gods. Here, take the basket. You can hold it with your paws." she said, sliding the basket off of her neck. The Lollia pick it up, looking in it. "Haven't found any, have we?" she said. The Naos shook her head. "I looked around a bit, but haven't found anything." Wynd started to laugh. The Naos glared at her. "Hey, I'm trying hard!" Wynd smiled. "You should look harder, in places you wouldn't expect an egg. Or maybe in some tall grass." She quickly dropped to the ground and started to examine the tall grass. She parted it here and there, searching carefully. "You look around the tree roots, see if you find anything." she said to Liskha. The Naos obeyed quickly, prodding the mossy roots with her feet.
