Slithe stopped, ears flicking towards the villagers. Those behind them and this new group ahead. Well they were in a fine pickle. Maybe she should just leave this guy in the dust. It'd be easy now that he'd stopped moving... Wait, what?
"What are you doing?" she hissed, stopping. She couldn't completely stop as she danced side to side on her feet nervously. This was a bad situation all around. Sure she was hot headed, but she also knew when things had gotten out of hand.
"There's got to be a way around them. What are you doing?" They could risk going to the side and going around the new group. It'd be a very tiring way to do it but it'd be pretty safe... right?

So the female had denied him a bit of fun. He (strangely enough) understood that. But now here was a new source of entertainment, and he wasn't about to let anyone deny him of it. His twin tail blades flicked in anticipation, and a crazy sort of smirk spread across his maw.
"This should be fun... Stay back, Slithe, unless you wanna get hurt." With that, he leapt right into the middle of the new group of villagers. What on Ladelle was that idiot male doing now?! He wasn't actually going to fight them, was he?
...Of course he was.

This guy definately contained nuts. Why couldn't nut-jobs like this one be labeled? Well she'd simmer over that later. For now Slithe's concern was getting out of here. She didn't want to see Yami Kodai die and she sure as heck didn't want to be dead herself.
The one group that Yami had leapt into was busy with him so the other group behind them rushed in for Slithe. She growled, tails lashing as she was surrounded. Weakness, weakness. The femme needed a weaker point in the group. She'd fight through it and get the heck out of there!
Suddenly, without warning she ran to the left of the group, who moved closer together there. When she was about three feet from from their weapons reach she darted right and started to go through those weakened ranks.

Looked like Slithe was more concerned with escaping rather than fighting. Oh well, more fun for him, then. YK whirled around, that crazy-insane smirk still on his face, tails still lashing.
"Time to die," he grinned, launching himself at the throat of the closest human and crunching down, blood staining the white fur of his mouth. On he went, a whirling dervish of calm death, leaving none in the group surrounding him untouched. Some he bit, others were scratched, yet others slashed, not one able to get out of the way of his teeth, claws, or blades.
Once finished with those unfortunate people, he licked his jaws and turned to those trying to surround Slithe. "Heeheehee...."

Slithe might have a bit of an angry viikuan, even by viikuan standards, but she wasn't about to go on a killing spree. Sure, she killed for food from time to time. But humans? Only if they really had her cornered. She was feeling preasured right now, lashing her tails in a warning like fashion towards one human, the other tail cut throungh the stick of a spear. She wriggled her way through the crowd and just ran.
But the villagers weren't paying much attention to her anymore. The male viikuan was killing comrades! many of them charged towards the male, seeking revenge. Most of the were younger, stupider. The older memebers of the village backed off. What chance did they have where their fellows had failed? A few younger ones, perhaps the ones who found this to be their first hunt tried to run back to their village. To a home where they'd be safe from this beast.

YK didn't care about those that fled back to the village. Hey, if they wanted to act like cowards, let them. It was probably the only way they would save their sorry hides anyway, because he was going to take out any humans that remained. He was in a total bloodlust now, killing just for killing's sake.
It was almost scary, how he had gone from an annoying flirt to a cold-blooded killer in almost no time flat. Maybe he had multiple personality disorder or something? Though it would be hard to tell if this was indeed a separate personality. After all, the female had gone off (which was the smart thing to do) and there weren't any other females in the vicinity, so who knew? All that could be known at this point was that YK killing these villagers like a sadistic kid with a magnifying glass and an anthill.

The group dispursed around and away from her and the male viikuan. She was free from danger... Atleast the threat of the humans. Now what she had to worry about was whether or not the viikuan would come after her. He didn't seem himself anymore, and she found herself wishing he'd go back to his flirty self. Anything was better than this.
She gave his battle zone a wide birth, trying to avoid him and what was in his view. She hoped to just make it out of there alive, that's all she ever wanted. Bring in the danger and escape it. This is what Slithe was made for, escaping danger. Though her bright red coat wouldn't help her avoid YK but maybe the humans who's lives he took would work just as well.

It wasn't long before all the villagers that had been chasing them had either run back home or been killed by the psychotic Viikuan. Grinning and licking his maw, he turned and stared at Slithe, slowly approaching her. Once he was close enough, he spoke.
"Well, now that they won't be trying to kill us anymore, we have the time to get to know each other, yes?" he suggested, taking a seat in front of the female and curling his blood-tainted tails over his paws. "Though I guess from how you were acting earlier, I should probably take you to a bar or something first, huh?" YK grinned, that silly carefree one that he had had before when he was flirting. "Don't want you killing me, you know. That wouldn't be a very good thing for me, now, would it?"

She froze in her tracks and actually took a step back, ears folded tightly against her skull. "I think I've seen more than enough of you for one life time, thanks," she said, voice cold. The smell of death surrounded him so thickly she was almost choking on it.
How could he act like nothing had happened? Did he not notice the blood on his paws, face? Everywhere he was soaked in blood and he didn't seem to know. He grinned at her, still blood on his teeth. Slithe couldn't help but shudder inwardly, stepping away from him. She'd even lowered her head to protect her neck from him. There was no way he was scared of her. Not after that killing spree. She glared up at him, taking yet another step away from him.
She felt a bit stuck. She couldn't hurt him, or threaten him. He might just come back to the state he'd just been in. Could she run away?

Oh dear. It appeared as though he had scared the girl witless with his rampant killing. Now she was never going to trust him... Not that it had ever looked as though she would. But things had certainly gone from bad to worse in their 'relationship', and now YK was going to have to try to find some way of reversing the mistake he had made. This was going to be extremely difficult...
"All right, look. I can see you're scared of me now, and I can understand why. Not too often you see a Viikuan killing humans like that, I know. But it's just a fact of life that when you're in trouble, you either defend yourself or die. And if preventing your death means taking the lives of others, well then, that's unfortunate, but too bad. It's either you or them. So don't worry... I wouldn't hurt you unless you were seriously going to kill me. You see?" He said all this in a serious tone, far from the joking sound of his pick-up lines.

(( haha, "Oh Dear" P= -defo enjoyed the start of your post- haha XD;; -so happy she's not Slithe- o3o;; ))
Continuing her slow retreat she listened to what he had to say. When he seemed to be done his little speech, she laughed. Not with any sort of humour though, cold. Obviously his song and dance hadn't worked on her. What did he take her for; an idiot? "In theory that sounds all well and good. But when put into reality, it doesn't really work," She spoke with her lips pulled back in a snarl, her voice was not as feminine as before. It was deeper, more growly, "Factoring moral standards and the persons sanity and intelligence you could also just disarm them. Without a weapon humans won't attack you, and these primitive weapons are easily disposed of. You have no respect for life, it seems and considering I have a life, I'd doubt you'd respect it,"
She'd put a good distance between herself and YK. Strange, the two of them were red viikuans now. She would have laughed if she didn't feel so threatened; if she didn't know what covered YK to make him so red.

Well, that was something he hadn't considered. Then again, disarming his opponents very rarely crossed his mind when he was in a fight. As evidenced just earlier, he did enjoy the act of killing when he deemed it necessary... Luckily for Slithe, he wasn't deeming it necessary now.
"You have a point, I suppose... Though I guess you've never come across humans that will stop at nothing to kill you. Not all humans give up after their weapons are gone." His tails wavered slightly, the blood slowly dripping off the blades. He could tell that he was fighting a loosing battle here. She was thoroughly disgusted with him now, and would never trust him... Ah, well. It would make things harder, but once he had his sights on someone, he wouldn't give up easily...

"Once you've disarmed them they're not even a threat anymore! If I took the blades from your tail, the claws you possess and your fangs I could easily bring you down without further harm to either of us. Just stupidity," she spat, "On your part, or something you can't control. Either way it's not anything safe to be around!"
She'd said her piece. She was done speaking to this murderer. She turned tail and ran. Slithe wasn't entirely sure where she was going, she was just trying to put distance between herself and Yami Kodai. Running from the viikuan, the murder the town. Heck; if she could she'd run from the whole day!
Then the most awful thing that could happen, that one could imagine did (because if it didn't Kodai would be stuck for forever. Love you Kodai! <3). Just as she entred the edge of the woods - she could have sworn it moved - she tripped over a tree root, falling face first into the ground. Her back legs went up , one getting caught in a tree branch, the other falling none to gracefully to the ground. But these paws were not her concern. it was her two front paws, which had tried to catch her that were Slithe's concern. Her left paw was fine, nothing worth worrying about. Her right... Well that she had smashed agains the side of a mossy rock. The moss did nothing to save her paw from breaking.
She'd yelped. Anybody would have as breaking your bones wasn't exactly the most pleasant feeling. Though the red viikuan wished she hadn't, she might just get his attention. But then she was stuck and she needed help. She was all alone save for YK. "Who hates me this much...? Which god is it?" she said quietly, angrily. She tried to get up, to hobble away. But because of how her foot was stuck between two branches she couldn't get free with only two good paws. Slithe let out a small whine of pain. What an awful day.
(( X3;; To the woods! XD;;; ))

YK had just been about to start chasing after her (letting her get a few seconds of a head start was only the gentlemanly thing to do, after all) when he saw her trip over a root and go tumbling down. Oho, now the tide had turned and Slithe actually needed his help. Strolling calmly over to the entangled female, YK sat down beside her and looked at her, a slightly malicious glint in his eye.
"Well, well... Look at the mess you've gotten yourself into now. I'm sure you wish you had someone to help you out, hm? Because surely you wouldn't expect a big, mean killer like me to do it?"
He wasn't going to help her right away, oh no. He would let her stay there, stuck as she was, and think over her attitude towards him. Not that it was bound to improve any if he didn't help her right away, but neither of them were going anywhere. They had the time to sit around and chat. ...If Slithe was even in the mood to chat.

She waited for him to show up. She heard him approaching and shut her eyes. Not out of fear. If he killed her there wasn't much she could do about it, she was stuck. But the situation was embarrassing and YK was quick to point out why it was.
She knew the reaction was childish but darn it, she just couldn't speak to him, she was too darn angry to do so. Angry at him because of what he'd just done, but mostly angry at herself for getting stuck in such a scary, dangerous and embarrassing situation. The closest she came to saying anything was letting out a small whine as she pulled her broken paw closer to her body. She didn't need YK... pawing at it, or something equally stupid. Best to keep it under guard and away from him. Now what she was going to do know she didn't know. "..."
All around it was earily quiet. From all the fighting that had just happened the animals had cleared out. Only bugs remained and a few birds who had come, curious about whether or not there was a meal to be had here.
